The exploration into the spatial expressions of leisure in Overijssel has been concluded. It concerns a first grubbing. Besides an inventory of spatial forms in which leisure manifests it selves at present in the city landscape of Overijssel, it is also an expliration of the way leisure has developed during the history. Moreover the economic and cultural potentials of the developing leisure landscape have been inventoried to what extent the Overijssels landscape can be the barear of vital sector of tourism and recreation by examine the spatial expressions of spending spare time.
